About The Ginn’s

Scott & Amanda

We met during freshman orientation in 2002 at Northwestern College and began dating that fall. We graduated (not dating at the time, thus the awkward body language) in May 2005.

We were married November 4, 2006 at Northwestern College. (Thanks, Mom and Dad, for the Disney honeymoon headwear!)

Scott works for Union Gospel Mission as the Director of Gospel Hill Camp and Ober Community Center. I’m a stay-at-home mama with a professional background in grant writing. We live in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Gizmo!

In December 2007, we found out that a baby is on the way! “Gizmo” was due on August 20, 2008.

Ainsley Ruth

Fashionably late, our little Gizmo arrived on August 27, 2008 at 9:03 p.m. Ainsley Ruth weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 1/4 inches long. And baby makes three!

Gadget!

In November 2009, we found out that baby #2 is on the way. “Gadget’s” due date was July 9, 2010.

Family of Four

Also fashionably late, Thaddeus Ronald Ginn was born on July 16, 2010. Weighing in at 9 pounds even and 22 inches, “Teddy” is a strong, healthy, and happy baby boy.

    Amanda –
I just found your blog from Shana’s website. How funny – Haddon and Ainsley were born ONE day apart (August 28 for him) and we’re due with our second boy August 18. So funny and great ideas on getting Ainsley books to prepare. At this point, Haddon just points to his own belly and says “baby”. Glad you guys are doing well!
