An Invitation and Weekend Reading

April 23, 2011

The Farmers’ Market opens in downtown St. Paul next weekend. I’m hoping to be there early to catch any miraculous edibles (like 6-7 a.m. early). And miracles they are — in any weather — but especially so if they’ve grown in this snowy cold spring! No edibles? That’s okay. There will be color and life and soil. Oh, how I miss soil.

So if you’re an early riser and could really go for some dirt-sniffing, meet me at the Market!

Here are a few things I’ve enjoyed reading in recent weeks…

Why A Child’s Memory is Better Than Ours: Steady Mom contributor, Kat

Sitting in the Sunlight: Miracles of We: …infinitely learning… (i could read this over and over.)
