My Boundaries Are Not Your Boundaries (and that’s okay): SortaCrunchy

I just want to share with you that I’ve found great freedom in reminding myself “My boundaries are not her boundaries . . . my boundaries look different . . . we do things differently . . . this is okay.” Isn’t that thought so liberating?  I find it very validating and very freeing.

With its long days and lovely weather, summer invites us to escape the walls of our homes and get out and about in our communities.  I find that in order to really squeeze every ounce of potential from the summer months, I have to intentionally plan a little bit because those long, leisurely days float past in the blink of an eye.

What if, amongst the swimming lessons, weeks at camp, and family getaways this summer, we made time to intentionally connect with our communities?

I know that you still have a tiny one about and don’t want to be overloaded with stuff–but please let me know if you have a registry or anything you need for little Gadget–I’d love to send you something! (In the baby shopping mood, apparently, since Heather’s baby shower was this weekend). Hope you are well!
