My new nickname for Ainsley is “Ainsley Tooth”. It would appear that our little Ainsley Ruth is teething (at least I hope that’s why she’s inconsolable, crabby, and miserable). She’s got a lot of the signs —
- drool rash on her chin
- rosy cheeks
- crabby attitude, and sometimes screaming
- chewing on just about everything
- fussy nurser
- poopy pants
- calms down when I push my finger on her gums
- Did I mention drool and often blood-curdling screams?
We’ve queried our parents to find out when Scott and I started teething since it’s hereditary. Our first teeth appeared around 6 months. If I have to wait another 3 months before Ainsley’s teeth break through, I am going to need a support group to get me through it.
I’ll be taking Tylenol before bed tonight to relieve my aching back from toting around our little toother. And Ainsley might be taking some Tylenol, too.
