What Goes In Must Come Out. I Guess.

September 19, 2008

So this morning I woke up and changed Ainsley. But apparently I was too eager.

So then I stripped the sheet, bumper pad, quilt, and blankets, wiped down the crib railings, and washed Ainsley.

And then I washed all the bedding.

A couple hours later…

I set Ainsley in the crib for her morning nap and discovered I had a wetter shirt than Grandpa Ron.

What a morning.

welcome, my friend, to the world of motherhood!!! i just blogged about a very similar topic, myself. the things we talk about once we have kids. it’s quite the life?!?
speaking of that end of the body . . . i was just sorting through stuff that anna has outgrown. would you ever be interested in trying some pocket diapers? i don’t know if you know much about pocket diapers. there’s really not tons to know. the main thing is they don’t use a cover because the outer layer is waterproof. anyway, her bum has gotten too big for a couple of her and if you want to give them a shot you are more than welcome to. if not, i will not be the least bit offended and will probably just post them on craigslist or something. (there is quite a market for used cloth diapers!!) anyway, just an offer.
enjoy the weekend and having daddy home . . . ours is at men’s retreat at trout lake camp, so the stoll’s are daddy-less until sunday afternoon (which also happens to be our 12th anniversary believe it or not!)
    enjoy!

    Good job Mommy and Daddy!
